In August, Guangzhou, a city with a long history and full of vitality, ushered in the "3rd Digital External Fixation and Limb Reconstruction Course". This course was organized by Guangdong Second People's Hospital and co-organized by Wuxi Beida Medical Technology Co., Ltd, aiming to promote the application and development of digital external fixation technology in limb reconstruction.

Learning ProgramThe course is based onSmall class teaching, workshop, teaching room, surgical video demonstration and surgical observation and other forms to provide a comprehensive and in-depth learning platform for the students. These forms of teaching not only cover the transfer of theoretical knowledge, but also emphasize the cultivation and improvement of practical skills.
During the several days of study, the trainees first systematically learned the basic principles, operation techniques and clinical applications of digital external fixation techniques through small class lectures. Senior experts explained in depth the basic theories, operation techniques and clinical applications of digital external fixation technology.Basic theory,latest progress and innovative applications, which enabled the trainees to have a deeper understanding of this field.The theoretical lecture began with Director Chen Jianwen systematically sharing his understanding of the theoretical principles and surgical operations to the trainees from the basic theory of Taylor external frame, clinical application cases and practical operations. Mr. Guo Yue from Affiliated Rehabilitation Hospital of National Rehabilitation Aids Research Center gave an informative introduction to the Taylor Outer Frame from the aspects of modeling, standardized installation and measurement, and answered the questions of the trainees at any time in the course of the lecture. In addition, Director Wang Renming from Shenzhen Zhengkang Hospital and President Wang Weiming from Hainan Kanger Hospital also gave wonderful lectures and sharing to the participants. Mr. Fang Jia from the No.2 Provincial Hospital also taught the participants how to read films, take measurements and use software to do calculations.
The workshop session gave the trainees the opportunity to do the surgery themselves, simulating the operation of a real case. The on-site guidance from the experts enabled the trainees to quickly master the key operation skills. Surgical video demonstration and teaching room session, moreover, allowed participants to closely observe the surgical process and clinical decision-making of experts, and deepened their understanding of the clinical application of digital external fixation technology.
